My hostmom's comments about me

Hello Everyone,
Laura asked me to write on her blog so here it goes! First of all, we love having Laura stay with us. I really hope she is enjoying her stay and getting comfortable with life in the USA. Last Thursday was Thanksgiving in the United States, so it was her chance to celebrate that holiday and eat lots of food. I think she wrote about our attempt to shop at midnight on Black Friday. It definitely didn't go well. Too many people!! We will try again this weekend. Hopefully it will go better. She has promised to take Ben shopping and make him a little more fashionable.

Now we are getting ready for Christmas. On Saturday she decorated our tree for us and helped Jake unpack all the christmas decorations.In two weeks she has her holiday Glee concert, which should be great and then on midnight of Dec. 23 we fly to Minnesota for Christmas. This is where Jake is from. There should be lots of snow for us. I think that minnesota is very similar to Finland. The winters are cold and there are lots of lakes. We plan to go snow shoeing and skiing. It will be fun!

I will have Laura post a picture of her room. She is decorating it for Christmas and it looks really good so far.

I hope all of you have enjoyed her blog. I need to have her write it in English so I can understand it better!
